Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient care, and adherence to HIPAA regulations. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other staff members to deliver comprehensive dental services in a friendly and professional environment.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Take medical imaging, such as X-rays, to assist in diagnosing dental issues.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Assess and record vital signs as part of the initial patient evaluation process.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support during procedures.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience working in a dental clinic is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with medical records management and dental terminology is essential.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
