Compensation:
$60 hourly + bonus Responsibilities:
Ensuring a sterile and hygienic environment by effectively sterilizing dental instruments
Conducting X-rays and intraoral photos to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Efficiently managing patient appointments and schedules
Accurately documenting dental procedures for record-keeping purposes
Presenting personalized treatment plans to patients in a clear and informative manner
Collaborating with the Dentist on treatment recommendations and providing necessary assistance
Educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices and available treatment options
Tailoring specialized hygiene procedures to meet the individual needs of each patient
Strictly adhering to infection control protocols to prioritize patient safety
Handling administrative tasks including answering phones, contacting labs, and patient follow-ups
Maintaining inventory, stocking supplies, and ensuring the upkeep of dental equipment
Documenting and updating Patient Health Information records accurately
Promoting a collaborative team environment to deliver optimal patient care
Qualifications:
A candidate applying for the Dental Hygienist position in Denver, CO, must have completed an Associateââ¬â¢s degree program from an ADA Accredited Dental Hygiene Program.
It is required for the applicant to hold a valid state licensure to practice dental hygiene.
The candidate should possess a current CPR/BLS certification.
Proficiency in utilizing dental patient management software like Open Dental or Dentrix is essential for this role.
Effective patient care necessitates strong teamwork and communication skills.
