Job Description
Our patient oriented private practice is looking for a wonderful part time hygienist to complete our team!We have been serving the Thornton area for more than 10 years. We take pride in the care and education we provide our patients and our culture. Our "perfect" hygienist has excellent clinical skills, a focus on what is best for the patient, hard working and a true belief that our work can be productive and fun at the same time. We looking for a hygienist 1-3 days, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday depending on applicants availability. Pay is a base hourly rate with percentage of net production. Looking to grow to 4 days. Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Expose digital dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate oral hygiene instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Qualifications:- Valid state dental hygiene license
-New graduates are welcome- Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Quality computer skills- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health care
