Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. If you have a steady hand and great bedside manner, weââ¬â¢d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:- Conducting oral health assessments and providing dental hygiene treatment to patients, including scaling and root planing, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and providing individualized oral health care instruction- Taking and developing dental radiographs- Maintaining patient records and documenting treatment plans- Assisting the dentist with patient care as needed
Requirements:- Associate's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program- Active dental hygiene license in the state- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a dental hygienist- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients and team members- Proficient in Eagle Soft and technology- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
