Responsibilities and Duties:

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures
Break down and clean operatories following dental procedures
Greet patients, conduct COVID screening, take temperatures, escort, seat, and prepare patients for treatment
Capture and process digital dental radiographs
Capture CBCT dental 3D imaging and iTero scans (training provided if necessary)
Assist the dentist/periodontist during examinations and treatment procedures (Restorative, Fixed, Removable, Periodontal, Endodontic, Implants, Oral Surgery)
Record medical/dental histories, periodontal charting, and patients’ vital signs
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by the doctor
Record treatment information in patient records
Perform dental impressions, provisionalizations, and create surgical suck-down stents
Contribute to patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing high-quality patient care
Assist with answering phone calls and scheduling appointments when the front office staff is busy

Qualifications and Skills:

Current California DA or RDA Certification
CPR/BLS Certification
Completion of Continuing Education courses to maintain licensure in the State of California
Strong communication skills (English required; second language is a plus)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

8 hour shift
