Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures with precision.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the documentation review process to ensure accurate patient records are maintained.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record-keeping.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Stay updated on dental systems, technologies, and best practices to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in dental terminology and practices is essential.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
Strong skills in infection control and patient assessment techniques.
Ability to assist with various dental procedures as needed.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patient care.
Previous experience in a dental assisting role is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
