Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced specialty dental office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the team with various clinical tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, technologically competent, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

Assist doctor during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and managing supplies.
Take excellent radiographs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Utilize dental software system
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
Maintain accurate medical terminology in patient documentation and communications.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to assist effectively during procedures.
Ability to perform X-ray imaging while adhering to safety standards.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.47 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 35 per week
