OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice in a full or part time capacity during the holiday season. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for various dental procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records within our systems.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
Assist in the management of the dental clinic's inventory and supplies.
Support the team in various administrative tasks as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is required.
Familiarity with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental clinic setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
A commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining a positive atmosphere in the clinic.
