Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Duties:
Removes calcareous deposits, accretions and stains, applies topical agents, provides patient edu., places and exposes Xray films, polishes teeth, takes med. history and vital signs, charts caries and periodontal conditions, applies pit and fissure sealants and desensitizing agents to the teeth.
Requirements
1 year experience.
Education:
Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist issued by NYSED,
Primary Source Verification required.
Xray certification preferred.
