Job OverviewOur dental practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Dentist to join our team in Deerfield. We are looking for a candidate who is truly dedicated to serving their patient base, with the highest degree of care and compassion. This role is ideal for a dentist with experience in general practice, although newer graduates with a commitment to patient care and a willingness to grow their skills are also welcome to apply. This role has a tentative start for late January early February, starting as a part-time position and graduating to a full-time position. "Details to be discussed"
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine dental health status and treatment needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including preventive, restorative, and pediatric dentistry.
Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records, appointments, and treatment plans effectively.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of infection control within the clinic.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care.
Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and treatment options available.
Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient care.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid dental license to practice in the state of employment.
Proficiency in dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
Experience with pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
