Job Description

Athens Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a dentist to join our team! This position will be working with patients of all ages, but with a strong focus on elementary and middle school students at our school-based health center. The dentist will also offer services through our mobile unit, travelling to different schools in the Athens-Clarke County school district. As a federally qualified health center, our centers exist to help the underserved population in the area, and are eager to welcome our newest team member.
Responsibilities:

Providing direct dental care to adults and children by performing oral exams,
Developing individual treatment plans
Performing procedures such as fillings and extractions
Taking impressions for dental appliances
Assessing pain and prescribing medications as appropriate
Providing education to patients regarding proper dental hygiene
General supervision of the on-site dental hygienist
Ensuring safe and efficient operations of the dental clinic

Qualifications and Skills

Licensed to practice dentistry in Georgia
2+ years as a practicing dentist preferred
Able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally;
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
