Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and assisting in the overall dental treatment process.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Take and review medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis.
Document patient assessments and maintain accurate records of treatments and procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Monitor vital signs and provide necessary assistance during procedures.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Utilize dental terminology effectively while communicating with patients and staff.
Assist in various dental office tasks, including sterilization of instruments and maintaining a clean work environment.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with dental terminology, medical imaging, and patient care systems is advantageous.
Strong skills in patient assessment and documentation review are essential for success in this position.
