Job SummaryExperienced Dentist - Life-changing, dream dental opportunity available in the expanding West-Lawrence, KS area. Join our dynamic dental team in a state-of-the-art, 14-operatory, private practice. This full-spectrum dental office offers all services in one convenient location. Endodontic therapy, CEREC, implants, hybrid dentures, orthodontic aligners, oral surgery, anti-infective perio management, and more are all provided in our office. Possible future partnership opportunity for the right candidate. Must be willing to relocate to the Lawrence area.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Execute a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, prosthodontics, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in accordance with practice policies and regulations.
Utilize dental software systems such as EagleSoft for patient management and record-keeping.
Educate patients on oral health care practices and preventive measures to promote overall wellness.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of prosthodontics is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
