Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.- Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals (Endodontics), and preventive care.- Utilize CAD technology for designing dental restorations when applicable.- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care efficiency.- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.- Knowledge of anatomy, medical coding, and relevant software systems such as Epic is preferred.- Experience working in a dental clinic setting is advantageous.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.- Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
