Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various dental procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Dentrix software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist in prosthodontics procedures.
Support endodontic treatments by preparing materials and instruments.
Skills
Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge related to general dentistry.
Familiarity with prosthodontics, endodontics, and various dental procedures.
Experience with software for managing patient records and documentation.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 ââ¬â 38 per week
