Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients by performing a variety of clinical tasks. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Duties
Hours: Monday & Wednesday 8AM-12PM (Lunchbreak) 1PM-6PM Tuesday & Thursday 11AM-3PM (Lunchbreak) 4PM-7PM

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
Utilize digital x-ray imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Apply aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes using dental terminology.
Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices, systems, and technologies.

Experience

A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program is required.
CPR Certification Required
Bi-Lingual Necessary
Digital X-ray experience necessary
Dental computer experience necessary
Previous experience in a dental practice necessary
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
A commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of dental hygiene.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
