OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality dental care.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as required, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis.
Manage patient records and medical documentation using dental software systems, including Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Assist with endodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry as needed.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging and treatment planning.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with X-ray procedures and safety protocols.
Knowledge of infection control practices in a dental setting.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry techniques and approaches.
Ability to navigate dental software systems effectively, particularly Eaglesoft.
Strong organizational skills for managing medical documentation accurately.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
