Job OverviewOur general dentistry practice is looking for a full time dental assistant.
Experience is preferred, but not necessary - on the job training is provided.
Hours:

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45 am - 5 pm
No evenings, no holidays, and no weekends

DA Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
Procedures: fillings, cleaning, crown and bridge, implant restoration, dentures and partials, etc.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Update, maintain, and enter in information in patient's electronic medical record (Eaglesoft). *Basic computer knowledge preferred*
Manage patient flow and schedule
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Qualifications

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally.
Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant training preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently, critical thinking skills, personable.
