Job Description
Issaquah Premier Dental â led by a top-rated Dentist in Issaquah â is hiring a Dental Receptionist â Front Desk for full-time & part-time permanent positions. A rare opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced practice with great patients and teammates. The job duties include attending to patients on the phone, in person, and by email. Co-ordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office during busy times.

The primary responsibility at this position is to manage the office schedule, ensure that the office is running smoothly and efficiently, and provide an excellent overall patient experience. We are looking for someone who is searching for a long term dental work home where they can grow with the business and have the potential for vertical career growth.
Responsibilities
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments as needed
Entering patient information into software
Answering patient questions
Assisting patients in entering or filling out forms
Coordinating referrals, prescriptions
Prepare billing statements
Maintain, organize and keep clean waiting area and front desk
Collecting copayments
Managing office schedule
Prepare daily schedules for the dental staff
Updating patient records and documenting conversations, recent treatments and procedures
Scheduling follow up appointments
Create a system for self reminders of patients to be called/followed up on
Provide new patients with practice information and doctorsâ background
Provide patients with information on procedures performed at the office
Knowledge of products available in the practice
General front office duties- scanning, photocopying, faxing, etc
Qualifications
Experience preferred
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, ADA Coding, dental insurance and dental treatment plans
Exceptional organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Good telephone etiquette
Computer proficiency- must be computer savvy
Fast learner- ability to learn to use office software (Oryx) and other programs
Attention to detail is a must!
Problem-solving/critical thinking skills- must be independent and able to handle tasks and challenges
Must be self-starter and motivated
Strong work ethic with high standards and integrity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willing to learn, willing to improve and get better
Must be a team player- willingness to be a part of a team
