The administrator will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing medical records, and supporting staff to deliver high quality patient care.
About the role:
This administration leadership position is ideal for someone with a background in dental office management who is eager to make an impact in a smaller setting poised for rapid growth. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for patients and will play a key part in patient satisfaction by handling treatment presentations, coordinating case acceptance, and maintaining efficient processes.
Responsibilities:
Providing leadership and oversight of all front-office administrative tasks, including but not limited to, scheduling, billing, and patient communications
Present treatment plans and discuss cases with patients, ensuring clarity and confidence in recommended care
Collaborate with clinical staff to support treatment goals and streamline patient care
Manage patient scheduling to maximize office efficiency and accommodate growth
Oversee financial transactions, including insurance processing, billing, and collections
Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Manage medical records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Contribute to the positive and welcoming atmosphere in the office, ensuring patients feel valued and understood
Skills
Strong knowledge of dental management practices and procedures
Proficiency with Dentrix preferred
Knowledge of dental insurance and billing practices
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team management
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment
