Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/Assistant to join our dental placement agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and aseptic techniques. The Dental Hygienist/Assistant will work closely with the dental team to promote oral health and assist in various procedures.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including the assessment of vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with practice protocols.
Assist in various dental procedures, including prosthodontics, using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with medical imaging systems is preferred.
Strong skills in assisting during dental procedures, particularly in prosthodontics.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices is essential.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
