Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting patient assessments, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Responsibilities: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing - Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Take dental x-rays and develop them for diagnosis - Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Eaglesoft) - Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care Qualifications: - Valid Dental Hygiene license in [STATE] - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Proficiency in using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for treatment planning - Knowledge of dental anatomy and systems - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique - Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar electronic dental software for medical documentation - Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and engage patients - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional dental care.
