We are a well known and respected dental practice in Manhattan, seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As an Ortho Dental Assistant at our Family Practice, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals in providing high-quality oral care to our patients. EXPIERENCE NEEDED
- Assist dentists with Ortho Treatment
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Digital Scan for Invisalign
- Apply attachments and assist in Invisalign
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Educate patients on pre and post-op instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as mixing materials for impressions
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft & Dexis software is a plus
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and recording medical histories
- Strict infection control protocols
- Follow HIPPA/OSHA guidelines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
