Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and infection control. This role is essential in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental care practices.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting oral examinations.
Administer preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures as needed, providing compassionate care to young patients.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay current with industry best practices, including HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
Experience with patient assessment and dental assisting preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor, especially when working with children in pediatric dentistry settings.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks.
