Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing oral health issues.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children.

Qualifications

Valid Alaska state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
