General Dentist position available for 5 days per week in busy privately owned (non DSO) practice located Alexandria, Virginia. We have very low staff turnover with numerous associates and employees having been at the office for over 10 years and several over 20 years. The current opening is related to a long time associate. This practice has two locations that are less than a mile apart. A main office and a satellite office. The staff is the same at both offices and the offices, schedules and accounts are linked via computer. This position is for 4 days at the satellite office(Mon-Th) and one day(Friday) at the main office. This practice is well established (almost 40 years) and the main office has 2-3 general dentists working each day as well as 4-5 chairs of hygiene, a periodontist and an orthodontist. Both offices are fast growing and get a large number of new patients each month. We are closed on weekends. The satellite office has only one dentist at a time with either one or two chairs of hygiene per day. We are looking for a team oriented individual with a passion for providing high quality dental care. Candidate should have at least one year of experience, or have completed an AEGD or GPR program. Preference is given to candidates that are proficient in endo but that is not a requirement of employment. Candidate will be treating new and existing patients and should expect to be busy very quickly. We do not participate with any HMO, DMO or managed care plans. We utilize Softdent and Kodak Dental Imaging. Other equipment includes a soft tissue laser, rotary endo and an Itero scanner. Compensation is collections based and our practice collections rate is close to 100%. The two other gp associates are on pace to make approximately 275-350K this year in income. We want to provide quality care as opposed to care driven by monthly production goals. We have had an excellent reputation with the community for almost 40 years and that is what drives our success. The current owner has owned the practice for 22 years. We have many patients that span multiple generations per family. Patients that we saw as children now bring their children.
