Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide quality patient care in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Duties:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Experience with Epic software preferred- Familiarity with medical terminology- Proficiency in CAD/CAM technology- Understanding of medical coding principles- Strong infection control practices- Anatomy knowledge for dental procedures- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care- Experience working with pediatric patients or in pediatric dentistry
