Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist with various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Perform tasks such as taking dental radiographs, sterilizing instruments, and preparing treatment rooms.
Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the dental clinic.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and documentation is an asset.
Understanding of anatomy knowledge related to dental health is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage medical records effectively.
A commitment to ongoing professional development in infection control and aseptic techniques is expected.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 ââ¬â 38 per week
