Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. As a Dentist, you will perform a variety of procedures, from routine check-ups to complex treatments, while maintaining a focus on patient education and preventive care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Skills
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis.
Experience with four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry for treating younger patients effectively.
Strong understanding of medical documentation practices for maintaining patient records.
Familiarity with infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients.
Experience using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and effective communication.
Comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Ability to apply aseptic techniques in clinical settings.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
