Job Description

Private Dental Practice in Sarasota seeking a skilled Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. Ideally we are looking for someone for Mondays , Wednesdays, & Thursdays 8:30 to 5:00 pm . We schedule an hour lunch from 12:00 to 1:00pm . If any of those days work for you please apply.
Candidate must have working experience chairside and have the ability to make temporary crowns.
Previous knowledge of Patterson Eaglesoft software. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a small practice that focuses on quality over quantity.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Take and dental x-rays (digital imaging)
- Ensure appropriate medical records, documentation, and coding are accurately maintained (chart notes, medical history updates)
- Educate patients on oral healthcare
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining medical records and documentation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 26 per week
