Job Description
Our busy periodontal office is seeking a friendly and outgoing Dental Hygienist for a part-time/temporary position. Prospective team member must have excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to provide superior customer service. Must be detail oriented and well organized, with the ability to multi-task in a busy office. A professional appearance and the ability to work well with others are required!
Responsibilities:
Collect medical and dental histories from patients
Chart dental conditions based on periodontistââ¬â¢s observations and evaluations
Sterilize dental instruments/tools
Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
Take periapical images, panoramic x-rays, and cone beams of patientââ¬â¢s teeth
Skills:
Associate degree in dental hygiene required (Bachelorââ¬â¢s preferred)
Current state license required
3+ yearsââ¬â¢ experience as a dental hygienist
Excellent verbal communication skills
Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
Current CPR certification required
The position is full-time, 4 days a week with Mondayââ¬â¢s off.
