Tomasheski Family Dentistry is a fun, team-oriented, rapidly growing *new practice*, focused on providing the highest quality care and building relationships with patients and within the community.
We are a family-owned practice (not corporate) and opened in Apex in June 2024. We are looking for a part-time dental hygienist to join our dental family to provide quality care, starting one day a week in January (Mondays), and expanding to two days a week in March/April. Schedule will be a single column of patients, 7am- 4pm with a 1-hour lunch.

Responsibilities of the Hygienist
In this highly valued role, you will:
· Routine prophylaxis
· Scaling and Root Planing
· Periodontal Maintenance
· Periodontal charting
· Fluoride application
· Sealant application
· Chart existing and proposed treatment
· Ensure our patients are comfortable and prepared for treatment
· Keeping accurate records and notes
· Take digital x-rays
· Take intraoral photos
· Sterilize instruments
· Educate patients on their oral health needs
· Perform some administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records
· Keep workspace and office clean and well-stocked
· Promote a positive patient experience
· Foster an upbeat team environment
Qualifications of the Dental Hygienist
· Valid Registered Dental Hygienist dental license from accredited dental hygiene school
· Experience preferred
· Current x-ray certification (required)
· Current CPR certification (required)
· Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
· Understanding of health and safety regulations
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Attention to detail, well-organized, reliable
· Spanish-speaking is a plus (not required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
No weekends
