Job OverviewOur Client is seeking a compassionate and skilled General Dentist to join their team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a patient-centered practice, where the focus is on making patients feel at ease during their routine cleanings, offering personalized care, and building lasting relationships. Over time, youââ¬â¢ll have the opportunity to expand treatment offerings and work with patients on a variety of dental needs, creating a pathway for comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
÷ Patient Care: Perform routine exams, cleanings, fillings, and other general dental treatments with a gentle, patient-first approach.
÷ Establish Relationships: Focus on building rapport with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued during each visit.
÷ Preventative Care: Educate patients on oral health, preventive measures, and best practices for maintaining their smile.
÷ Treatment Planning: As relationships grow, develop individualized treatment plans based on patientsââ¬â¢ needs, discussing options for restorative, cosmetic, or other advanced care.
÷ Team Collaboration: Work closely with the office staff, hygienists, and assistants to ensure a seamless, patient-centered experience.
÷ Comfort & Trust: Help patients overcome anxiety or fear around dental visits through clear communication, empathy, and a calm approach.
÷ Continued Education: Stay current with dental techniques, trends, and technologies to ensure the best care for your patients.
Requirements
÷ Must be registered & licensed to practice dentistry in the state of North Carolina.
5+ years experience in General Dentistry practices.
÷ Excellent medical documentation skills for maintaining accurate patient records.
÷ Strong patient assessment skills to evaluate individual needs effectively.
÷ Exceptional communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
÷ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients to providing compassionate, patient-first care.
÷ Interest in growing long-term relationships with patients, starting with routine care and expanding into other treatments.
÷ Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive, supportive office culture.
÷ Proficiency in medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis.
÷ Strong knowledge of infection control procedures to ensure patient safety.
÷ Familiarity with oral surgery techniques is preferred.
÷ Competence in using Dentrix or similar dental software for patient management.
÷ Ability to perform dental extractions with precision and care.

Pay: $700.00 - $800.00 per day
