Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients. You will work closely with the dental team to ensure optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and effective communication skills.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients.
Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and document treatment plans using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education.
Requirements
Valid Norht Carolina Dental Hygienist license.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft software is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and pediatric dentistry practices.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and recognize any potential issues.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $37.00 - $39.00 per hour
