Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, performing assessments, and assisting with various dental procedures in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral hygiene.
Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to younger patients.
Document patient interactions accurately, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Utilize medical imaging technology to capture necessary diagnostic images.
Review documentation to ensure compliance with dental protocols and standards.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on dental terminology and advancements in the field to enhance patient education.
Qualifications
Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist is required.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and general dentistry practices.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus, enhancing our ability to serve younger patients effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
