What we’re looking for:

Professionalism with Personality – Someone who can make patients feel comfortable and cared for while keeping the office culture upbeat and supportive.
Clinical Excellence – A hygienist with experience in prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, taking high-quality radiographs, taking intra-oral photos, and educating patients about their oral health.
Team Player – Willing to help in other areas of the practice when needed and always eager to support teammates in maintaining our amazing culture.
Tech-Savvy – Familiarity with Open Dental or a willingness to learn, and comfort with using modern dental technology like intraoral scanners.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Review and document patient medical histories and current medications.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize open dental software and kasper for patient documentation and record management.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office environment.
Manage medical records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Utilize medical imaging systems to assist in diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Florida
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of dental practices and technologies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 37 per week
