Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assess patients' oral health by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Collaborate with dentists during procedures and provide chairside assistance as needed.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential for effective patient care.
Experience with pediatric patients is a plus, as you will be working with diverse age groups.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques and infection control measures is required to maintain a safe environment.
Skills in dental assisting are beneficial to support the overall functioning of the practice.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $51.36 - $53.79 per hour
Expected hours: 20 ââ¬â 30 per week
