Job Summary
We have an opportunity for a Dental Hygienist to join our team part-time, who is committed to educating and advocating for their patients while providing the level of treatment they need in the manner they deserve.

Job Type: Part-time
2-3 days a week (M-F) set days open for discussion, let us know what works for you
Pay:
Based on experience
Responsibilities

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Be sensitive to patient's concerns and/or dental anxiety to ensure each patient has their best experience.
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Assist Dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain documentation and charts for each patient
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Monitor supplies

Skills

Dental Hygienist license OR
Contingency offers available for near term graduates
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Ability to thrive in a team environment and excel at working individually as needed
Attention to detail while being sensitive to patient concerns
Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene
Wisconsin license for Dental Hygienist
Anesthetic License
CPR Certification

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
