**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a motivated and personable Dental Assistant (Part time - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday/Friday) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring effective communication with our diverse patient base.
**Responsibilities:**
**Dental Assistant Duties :**
- Assist the dental team during procedures by providing instruments, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
- Prepare patients for treatments, including taking X-rays, recording medical histories, and explaining procedures to patients.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile and hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Greet and welcome patients and their families with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the dental software.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent. Dental assistant certification is a plus.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with dental software and basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
