Job Description
Davis Dental Center is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team!

Pay: Starting at $40/hr, depending upon experience, with sign-on bonus
Pay: Commensurate with experience

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm and Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm

Responsibilities
Provide superior clinical care, acting medically and ethically in the patients' best interest
Record, chart and review patient medical histories
Educate our patients on the importance of preventing, diagnosing, and treating periodontal disease. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and their overall systemic health
Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
Qualifications
Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Board of Dentistry with no negative actions
Laser certification is a plus- we will pay for training
Attention to detail and strong communication skills
Ability and willingness to create a positive, supportive environment for patients as well as team members
Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis is a plus
About Davis Dental:
Davis Dental Center is a premier dental office in Louisville Kentucky that is based on good, moral values and the bottom line of helping our patients achieve the healthy smile they desire. We currently have four highly trained dentists and four hygienists, and we are looking to expand our hygiene department. We can bring on another hygienist full time (4-5 days/week) due to an active waiting list of patients that need hygiene appointments. We are one of the most modern offices in the Louisville area, completing a full renovation and expansion in 2022. Our office currently uses Dentrix and is paperless, we send out email/text messages for appointment reminders. We use ultra-low dose digital x-rays (bitewings, periapicals, panerox and CT scans) and we have multiple intra-oral scanners (iTero, Trios, Planmeca). All our doctors are proficient in same-day crowns, all of our hygienists are laser certified, all of the doctors perform implant procedures (placement, restoration and maintenance) and our doctors perform all levels of sedation dentistry (oral and IV conscious sedation). We have nitrous plumbed into all operatories. We are a family business and treat all our patients as if they are our extended family. We pride ourselves on our proficient work and ethical decisions. We are searching for our next hygienist to complete our hygiene team and join our work family.
