Our dental office located in Edgewood is looking to add a Full-time and a Part- time Hygienist to our practice. We are looking for strong candidates to compliment our team during GREAT family-friendly hours!
We are searching for our Star Hygienist who has strong clinical skills; a great, warm, friendly personality; and of course, has a professional presentation and demeanor.
Our growing, high-end, practice is equipped with the latest technology in large rooms and uses top-quality instruments to ensure the comfort of our patients as well as the ease of use for our team.
We are looking for a hygienist that has strong communication skills. The practitioner will have a critical role on patient education as it pertains not only to gingival health, but also complete oral health.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Utilize medical imaging and systems, including Dentrix, to document patient records accurately.
Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by conducting preliminary assessments and taking medical histories.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the dental clinic, adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies.

Experience

Strong knowledge of anatomy as it pertains to oral health is essential.
Experience with dental assisting is a plus, enhancing collaboration within the team.
Excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with pediatric patients and their families.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
