Job Description

Are you passionate about patient care and looking to join a supportive, growing team? Smart Dental of Lexington is seeking a dedicated and friendly Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our family-focused practice.
Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM | 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Note: Mondays are mandatory.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planning as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices to maintain and improve oral health.
Take and process digital X-rays using Nomad X-ray and Dexis software.
Utilize Dentrix for charting and patient management (training provided if needed).
Perform intraoral scans using iTero scanner to assist in treatment planning.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all OSHA and HIPAA standards.
Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients and team members alike.

Qualifications

Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Kentucky.
Experience with Dentrix, iTero scanner, Nomad X-ray, and Dexis preferred, but not required—training available for the right candidate.
Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused attitude.
Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply!
