Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This role requires proficiency in various dental systems and a commitment to maintaining infection control standards within the clinic. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in our dental office.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Conduct documentation reviews to maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, providing support to the dentist during treatments.
Utilize open dental software for patient scheduling, charting, and record management.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and satisfaction within the clinic.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and best practices in oral health care.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with open dental or similar dental office management systems is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures relevant to dental practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their parents.
Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus, enhancing teamwork capabilities within the clinic.
