Our Family/doctor-owned PEDIATRIC dental practice needs a skilled, dependable and energetic Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (coronal polishing/fissure sealant and supragingival scaling certification preferred) who is great with kids and parents. If you have been feeling unfulfilled, think of how rewarding it would be to give treatment to a child with special needs or who comes in with previous "bad" experience and turning them around with a smile on their face! There is no better feeling! We focus on the patient/parent experience with the highest standard of care, not churning out numbers. Currently seeking Monday through Thursday hours. Some MONDAYS 7:30AM-1:30PM, TUESDAY 8:30AM-6:30PM, WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY 7:30AM-5:30PM and some MONDAYS 7:30AM-1:30PM (TUES/WED/THURS - 90 minutes blocked mid-day to allow for ideal lunch/breaktime even if morning patient care runs into lunch hour a bit). Great pay (hourly pay varies depending on experience), 401(K) matching plans offered, health care, PTO.
We prefer at least one year of dental field experience and comfort with or desire to work with children with special needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
