Job Description

Our practice is growing and looking for another dental assistant to join our dental family. Candidates must have certifications in Dental Assisting, Expanded Functions, and Radiology. Experience of 3 or more years is preferred, but this is negotiable for the right candidate. We are a small private office that operates Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 7:30am-4:30pm and Wednesday 9am-1pm. Pay is based off job experience and work efficiency.
Job duties:

Assisting the doctor in dental procedures, such as: crown preparations, composite restorations, extraction and bone graft, implant placement and restoration, with or without IV sedation, removable partial denture and full denture processes, root canal treatment, bleaching and fluoride trays, examinations
Basic dental assisting duties, including but not limited to: taking radiographs, fabricating temporary crowns and bridges, sterilization, charting, taking impressions, packing retraction cord, organizing lab cases

Candidates must have:

Exceptional written and verbal communication with patients, coworkers and superiors
Remarkable patient care and connection
Detail oriented with exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
Effective time management and very motivated
Reliable and timely transportation

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
