The Dental Bar is a dental practice in Aurora, CO, changing the way patients feel about visiting the dentist. We are a privately owned practice, focused on high quality dental care, the latest technology and a high-end patient experience. We have a low-stress and fun working environment with a small team, and are excited to welcome another dental hygienist to our practice!
About this role:
As a dental hygienist at our practice, you will treat patients of all ages. This includes prophies, perio maintenance, SRPs, taking radiographs, set-up/tear-down of rooms, and sterilization. Recall prophies and perio maintenances are blocked for 60 minutes and new patient exams and cleanings are blocked for 90 minutes.
Job Responsibilities:

Educate patients using your knowledge and experience in optimal clinical outcomes.
Complete general and periodontal cleanings and periodontal screenings and provide treatment recommendations
Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.
Collaborate and co-diagnose with doctors to deliver excellent services and create amazing patient experiences.
Capture quality x-ray images, intraoral photos, digital scans and CBCT scans
Setting up and breaking down exam and treatment rooms
Discussing treatment options, importance and follow-up recommended care
Supporting with patient treatment appointment scheduling as requested
Sterilizing instruments and following cross-contamination standards
Creating positive and uplifting patient environments through patient engagement before, during, and after visits
Understanding and adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a Colorado Dental Hygiene License
Must be able to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide as needed
Must be able to co-diagnose and collaborate with dentists
Must be able to use digital scanner and educate patients on findings (preferred but willing to train)
