Job Overview:Join our dynamic dental team at a well-established dental practice as a Dental Assistant. We are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a friendly and welcoming environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring top-notch patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical records management- Provide chairside assistance for prosthodontics procedures- Utilize 3D scanner technology for precise treatment planning- Demonstrate sound anatomy knowledge to support dental procedures- Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures as needed- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently- Familiarity with medical imaging processes- Uphold strict aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software for patient management
Experience:- Previous experience in assisting dental procedures is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate- Knowledge of medical records management is beneficial- Familiarity with prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus- Experience with 3D scanners and medical imaging is advantageous- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
