Job Description

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental operatory
Qualifications:- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred- Proficient in patient assessment and taking vital signs- Familiarity with medical coding and billing procedures- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
