About us
Professional periodontics & dental implants is a private periodontal specialty dental practice in Maple Grove, MN. We thrive and aspire to make differences, so that our patients can be most satisfied in our care. We provide Non-surgical periodontal treatment, surgical peridoontal procedures including gum graft procedure, regenerative procedures, periodontal pocket procedures, laser assisted crown lengthening procedure, single/multiple dental implants and soft and hard tissue regenerative therapy. Our clinic hours are :
Monday: 9:00 - 5:00
Tuesday/Wednesday: 8:00 - 4:00
Thursday: 8:00 - 3:00
Responsibilities:- Assist the periodontist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare materials for periodontal regenerative surgery- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy- Familiarity with medical records systems and dental office software- Proficiency in assisting with various dental surgical procedures- Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices- Ability to perform patient assessments and document medical information accurately- Knowledge of medical coding for insurance billing purposes
Skills:- Must be a TEAM player!!- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions- Organizational skills to manage patient records and appointment schedules- Ability to work well in a team environment- Compassion and empathy for patients' needs and concerns
