Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and educating patients on oral health practices. Your expertise in utilizing dental software and maintaining patient records will be essential in ensuring a smooth operation within the office.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients' oral health.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, fillings, crowns, and root canals.
Utilize Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing patient records and scheduling appointments efficiently.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling medical records and patient information.
Educate patients on preventive care, proper oral hygiene practices, and treatment options.
Maintain an aseptic environment during procedures to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in using medical imaging technology for diagnostics.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership when necessary.

Pay: $250,000.00 - $450,000.00 per year
